What are the other things to keep in mind with respect to the app?
We’re seeing a few common issues while accessing the app and using QR codes. Please read this carefully before raising queries:
Browser Compatibility
Do NOT use the Brave browser or any other custom browsers — the app is not designed for it.
As this is a web app, please use Google Chrome or Safari as the default browser for the best experience.
This applies to both ambassadors and students scanning the QR codes.
QR Code Visibility / Linking
After receiving your onboarding email, it may take 24–48 hours for your QR to link to the backend.
Please wait during this period. If the issue persists beyond 48 hours, report it.
Scanning Errors
If you see a message like “Failed to load fingerprint data”, it means you are scanning your own QR code from your own phone. This is not allowed and will not be counted.
If the message says “Prompt already scanned!”, it means the student has already scanned your QR once. Each student can only scan a QR one time.
Phone Settings
Ensure notifications are enabled on your device so you can receive OTPs and other alerts.
Check app permissions if you are facing trouble receiving verification codes.
